| This is another large scale pendant by the Finnish designer Karl Laine. Highly abstract, with an almost web-like design, this measures 2 1/2 inches in diameter. The original chain, with a clasp, measures 25 inches. The marks are on the back of the bale and are as follows: company mark for Sten & Laine, Finnish country mark (crown in a heart), 830H for silver fineness (H is hopea, the Finnish word for silver), the city mark for Turku and the date mark S7 for 1971. Very striking piece in both size and design, it's in excellent condition. There is a matching ring to this pendant, item 287, which was made a bit later in 1976. | ||||||
