| This lovely ring exemplifies one of the major directions of mid-century jewelery design in Finland, with it's clean lines and geometric form. Produced for Kaunis Koru by an unknown designer (maker mark TNu), the ring is a size 7 but adjustable. Kaunis Koru was started in 1954 to foster artistic jewelry design and counted Bjorn Weckstrom and Paula Haivaoja amongst their young designers. The marks inside the ring are: TNu (designer mark unknown), 585 for 14K gold, Finland country mark of a crown in a heart, the date mark Y7 (1976) and the company mark KK (back to back) for Kaunis Koru. The width across the top is 15mm and it's 8mm above the finger (at widest point). | |||||||
