| Charming Victorian silver cello pin is an example of the novelty jewelry that was so popular in the mid Victorian era. While sporting and insect brooches are most common to see, musical instruments, boats, typewriters, arrows, etc. were all produced. This cello brooch has separately attached wire strings and is 2" x 5/8" of an inch. Unmarked for silver content it tests at 800 silver. See also item 558 for a sterling silver and gold banjo pin (also seen in third image). | ||||||
