| This lovely ring is made in the German equivalent of the Art Nouveau style, which is called Jugendstil (or youth style). The curvilinear lines show the Art nouveau influence but the Jugendstil was also influenced by the English arts & crafts movement which is also shows in this ring. The top of the ring which is set with coral, is 1/2 x 3/4, and the ring is a size 5 3/4 but could easily be resized. On the back of the ring, it's marked 925 and Handarbeit (handmade) and also bears a maker's mark which I can't yet identify. Lovely ring and in great condition. | |||||||
