This large, sculptural mid century German porcelain piece is stunning and one of my favorite pieces by Martin Freyer. What's striking to me is that an essentially rectilinear and blocky shape conveys so much movement and fluidity. The contrast created by the variety within the linear design and the varying depths of the patterns create a very dynamic surface. This is in excellent condition and the dimensions are as follows: 9 5/8" x 7" x 3 1/2". Both the standard stamped Freyer signature as well as a freehand signature are on the bottom.
