| Scandinavian modern silver ring by Erik Granit of Helsinki Finland. Most of his jewelry features abstract designs and his rings are often oversized. This one is no exception, measuring 1 7/8". The shank is a 5 1/2. There are two sets of marks inside the shank. One set is EG, 925 and V7 for 1974 (the town mark is rubbed out but it would be for Helsinki).Underneath that it says 925 Sterling Finland. On the opposite side of the shank it's marked E. Granit Co Design Jewellery. Wonderful looking and very dramatic ring. I also have a bracelet of his on my site.
