| Modernist Scandinavian silver and porcelain ring by Anton Michelsen. After the Michelsen firm was acquired by Royal Copenhagen in 1968, jewelry items featuring both silver and porcelain were created. This ring is from the Royal Bini series. These were produced as a limited series in the 1960's and are considered highly collectible. The design recalls a lunar landscape. The royal blue porcelain disk is 1 1/8" in diameter, and decorated with silver balls of varying sizes. The ring is marked with both the Michelsen and Royal Copenhagen marks as well as 925S DANMARK. In excellent condition, it is size 6. (please note that the spots, etc you see on the porcelain are light reflections only) | |||||||
