| This art deco chrome and galalith necklace from Jakob Bengel has a bold design in wonderful colors. Bengel's factory in Oberstein, Germany produced an astonishing array of chrome and galalith jewelry in the 1930s. Galalith, a precursor of bakelite is another type of synthetic plastic that was widely used in Germany and France. The necklace is 18 1/4 inches long and in excellent condition. | ||||||
