This German studio vase is by Sybille Karrenberg, daughter of the well known ceramic artist, Paul Dresler. He founded the Grootenburg Pottery prior to WWII and their signature works are often glazed in various dark reds and greens and decorated with incised lines. This piece is c.1970s, signed on the base SK and is quite heavy. It is 10" tall and in fine condition. |
