| This miniature studio pottery vase is by Maria Philippi, born in 1927. She studied with Hubert Griemert and Monika Maetzel and also worked for Annemarie and Werner Schmidt-Tummeley. Between 1962-1964 she worked for Soholm in Denmark. The Scandinavian influence can be seen in both the shape of this piece and the soft matte glaze with it's subtly varying hues. This is 4 1/2" tall, in excellent condition and signed. | |||||||
