Lovely crystalline vase by Annemarie and Werner Schmidt Tummeley, marked Juist. Juist is a region in lower Germany and I believe was their early mark. (according to images in "Keramik des 20 Jahrhunderts Deutschland", their mark was a stylized version of their initials ST, post 1965). Working since the late 1940s, Annemarie designs the shapes while her husband Werner supervises the glaze decoration.* This piece is 4 1/2 inches tall and has a lovely blue crystalline decor.
