| A stunningly glazed bottle vase by renowned ceramic artist, Dieter Crumbiegel. He began his career as a painter, then trained as an art teacher, accidentally finding clay as a medium for expression. He has been a professor since 1979 and has exhibited in Australia, Belgium, CFSR, East Germany, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan and Hungary. He has won numerous prizes and his work appears in several museums including the Museum of Modern Ceramics Dusseldorf, the Hetjensmuseum Faenza, Italy, KERAMION Hanover, Ceramics Museum Westerwald Karlsruhe, Baden State Museum in Cologne, the Museum of Applied Arts in Leipzig, and the Museum of Fine Arts Zurich, Switzerland. The vase is in excellent condition and stands 10 inches tall. | ||||||||
