Painted black lacquered trunk made of Northern Elm from the Shanxi Province. Mid Qing Dynasty circa 18th century. The beautiful painting on the front depicts a village scene. All paint is in very good condition considering the age of the piece. Measures 34 3/4" wide, 21 1/8" deep, and 15 3/4" tall.
