This is a wonderful Cubist tile plaque created by the artist Harris Strong. Strong was born in Wisconsin in 1920, and was inspired to became an artist by his aunt's greeting card company. He was as artist, as well as a scientist, and experimented with glazes and color on his ceramic tile art. he was also a painter, but his true passion was working with ceramic tile.
