Tim Lewis Sandstone Carved Sculpture, Baseball Catcher

This is a fantastic piece. Whether you are a sports fanatic or just like great folk art. This carving is so detailed and the catcher really looks ready for that pitch. Beneath the surface of Tim's sculpture is a tension of being here and going there. Affirming his sense of being "here" Tim says: " I would just as soon carve a boulder around the house" Looking outward toward the place called "there."
