A. Wurfflein Philadelphia Derringer Gun

This is a very similar gun to the one that was used to shoot Abraham Lincoln. This model was manufactured by Andrew Wurfflein of Philadelphia. It is a .45 caliber gun with a 1-1/2" barrel, and measures 5 1/2" overall. Engraved German silver mounts that show the high quality this maker was noted for. Circa 1850, This piece is in excellent condition for its age. Notice the carving details in the metalwork, as well as on the gun handle. Take note of the pineapple underneath that symbolized hospitality... This is an exception piece for any gun enthusiast.
