| This set of eight extremely rare sterling silver hunt cups were made by the Baltimore maker A.G. Schultz (1899-1950) whose distinctive by hand mark graces the bottom and retailed by James B. Armiger Co. These cups came out for beverages during the point-to-point and steeplechase races at Hunt Valley, Maryland. Each one measures 6 inches in height by 3-1/8 inches in diameter at the top and weighs approximately 7.39 troy ounces. Mint juleps and other alcoholic drinks were the order of the day, but they would also be perfect for iced tea. This is a great opportunity to obtain an extremely rare and functional form of silver. | |||||||||
