| This fabulous pair of circa 1960s plexiglass and cork lamps are straight from the Eames Era of modern design. Charles Eames and his second wife Ray were a husband-and-wife team that designed some of the most influential furniture of the twentieth century and influenced scores of other designers. These lamps come straight out of a Palm Beach estate and are really good examples of mid-century design. The lamps are 18-1/4 inches in height, 30 inches high including the harp, and sit on a base that is 5-5/8 inches square. The plexiglasss squares can be moved so they line up with the cork squares or can go in a different direction. Even (especially) today, they are way cool. | ||||||||
