A delightful figure of Guandi, the God of War, dating from the Ming Dynasty (1366-1644 AD). Carved from a heavy wood, remains of lacquer, gilt and pain. part of the bottom has decayed at some time but the remains are strong. On a custom built stand. Height 23 cm (9.3 inches) Width 16cm (6.3 inches)

A very rare, museum quality Stucco Buddha's Head, scultured and then decorated in a white slip. The rear of the head is absent showing where it has been removed from where it was placed. Mounted on a design built black stand. Excellent unrestored. Height 15cm (6 inches) including stand.

A very rare museum quality Chinese Tang Dynasty Amphora with the handles in the form of dragons' necks and heads. Whilst these amphoras do come up at auction occasionally what makes this one unique is the beautiful brown glaze, the like of which I have not seen equalled. Henan Province likely Gonxian kiln.
