Beautiful gravy boat with atteched underplate by RC (Royal Crockery) Noritake China. Shape is typical of their lovely china dinnerware. Pateern identified as N1462 border of tiny yellow and orange buttercups or poppies with nice gold detail trim.This pattern was discontinued in 1950. The backstamp used was on itms sent to India and Southeast Asia.RC stands for Royal Crockery (fine china),THis mark was not registerd in India until 1926, and this was the forst time the laurel leaves were used with the RC Mark. Measures 3 1/4" tall and is 9 1/2" long. This piece is in brand new condition with no chips or flaws I can detect. A simply beautiful addition to your set.
