Early piece of Weil California Pottery. Tall 12" lady vase. Dressed in two tone blue, off the shoulder dress with textured pink roses design. She has long blond pigtails. Max Weil started the California pottery company in the 1940's and died in 1954. Production ceased in 1956. His early pieces had a circular foil sticker that stated California figurine-Hand decorated- MW Co logo. Most stickers did not stay with the pieces. This lucky lady has her sticker, and shows she is one of his early pieces. She also has the 1725 on the bottom and some potters marks. She has no damages, not even the slightest chip or crack. Normal crazing. She's quite the gal, and you'll love adding her to your collection!
