This is a beautifully illustrated book of nursery rhymes and stories from Japan. One of the, My Travelship books published by The Book House for Children in Chicago. Translated by Olive Beaupre' Miller and beautifully illustrated by Katherine Sturges. Book was originally printed in 1925 but this one was printed in 1952. 191 pages and every page has a colorful illustration. Excellent condition inside. The cover has a watermark on the picture area (see photo) and a name of an original little girl is neatly handwritten inside the cover page. Wear to the top and bottom of the spine (see photo) and the tip of the back bottom corner is chipped away. Book is nice and tightly bound. Measures 8 3/8" x 11 3/4".
