Composed of two interlocking semi circles which hook together on the sides. Front piece is lightly hammered in a triangular pattern. Lays nicely on the neck.

A vintage 830 silver pendant with a raw amethyst cabochon by Finnish modernist Pentti Sarpaneva. Pendant measures 2" long and 5/8" across. The chain measures about 24" long and has a hook closure. Marked P. Sarpaneva and 830S on the back of the pendant, and has the mark for Torun Hopea, Turku and 1975 on the ring attaching it to the chain. Very nice condition. Great Scandinavian modern design.
