A vintage clamper bracelet by Hilario Lopez who was a silversmith for Margot de Taxco. This is one of Margot's well known designs, vines and berries. When Margot closed her shop, she gave her molds to her silversmiths and this is likely done with one of those molds. Marked with the initials HL surrounded by Sterling and Taxco, 925. Also marked Mexico and Eagle #3. Measures 7" around the inside and 2 1/4" wide...

A wonderful Hummingbird brooch by Hector Aguilar. Signed with his conjoined HA, Taxco and 990 for the silver content. Early mark. Shown on title page of Penny Morrill's book, "Silver Masters of Mexico". Measures 2 1/2" across and 2" tall. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. In very nice condition, has some tarnish and minor surface scratches. Very detailed. Circa 1940. Great stylized design.

A vintage classic pair of sterling silver dangle screw back earrings from Taxco, Mexico in a wreath design. Measure about 1 1/4" wide and hang down about 2". Marked Talleres de Los Ballesteros, Taxco Gro around a stylized 'B', Hecho an Mexico and Sterling 925 on the back of each. In nice condition, some minor surface scratches and tarnish. Screw backs function properly. Look really nice on.

An unusual pair of sterling silver clip on earrings signed Old Cuzco, 925. Old Cuzco made jewelry in Peru and is equal to the quality of Graziella Laffi. Features a silver stylized bird overlay on hammered silver background. Clips hold tightly. Measure 1 5/8" tall and 1" across. Striking design and well made. Nice dark patina. Great condition.

A pair of bold vintage Mexican sterling silver earrings in a four leaf clover design. Four leaf clovers are said to be lucky! Large dangling silver disks with shadow box four leaf clovers and central glass (glass foil?) blue green sparkly cabochons. Measure about 1 3/4" long and about 1 1/4" across. Screw backs hold tightly. Marked Mexico DF 925 around the initials ME on the back of the earrings. Nice condition, one of the cabochons has a 1/4" chip along the edge. Hard to see when worn...

A pair of vintage Mexican modernist clip earrings of Sterling Silver in a bold layered design. Measure approximately 1 1/4" square. Marked TR-80 for Taxco and the artisan's registration number, Mexico and 925 for Sterling Silver. The corners of the top layer curve upward for an interesting 3-D effect. In very nice condition, has some tarnish and minor scratches. One corner has a very small ding. Clips hold tightly. Nice weight and well made.

A pretty pair of sterling silver clip earrings made in Mexico by Marcel Boucher, signed Parisina. Boucher apprenticed early in his career with Cartier in France. Made sterling silver jewelry under the name Parisina in Mexico during WWII when silver was difficult to obtain. These earrings measure 7/8" across. Marked Parisina, Sterling, Mexico. Clips hold tightly. Have some tarnish. Very well made. Classic design.

A detailed sterling silver bracelet signed RS Sterling 925, Guad Mex. Has what looks like a very early eagle mark, but unable to make out the number or to photograph. Measures 7 1/2" long and 1 1/2" wide. Hook closure that holds nicely. Nice warm patina, some minor scratches and a few shallow dings, (in the last picture it is not a ding, but a reflection). Great look.

A classic Mexican sterling silver, coral and turquoise brooch by Matilde Poulat depicting 2 doves. Marked with the script MATL, Hecho en Mexico around '925', which dates it between 1934-48. Measures 3 1/4" long and 2 5/8" across. Rolling safety clasp that holds tightly. Warm, dark patina. Has a little bit of roughness along the side of the central faceted clear cabochon. Lots of movement, the bottom section swings and there are 5 dangles with turquoise stones suspended from that piece...

A sterling silver and rosewood cheese knife by William Spratling. First design period. Rope handle, exaggerated curve on blade. Great balance. Marked with conjoined 'WS', Taxco and 925. Being sold 'As Is'. Blade is bent and has dings along the edge. The previous owner has inserted two rivets to keep the handle together. The rope trim is a little loose. Great design.
