A large, impressive brooch by Chato Castillo using his fused metals technique. In the shape of a mask, this brooch measures 2 5/8" across and 2 1/4"high. Marked on the back Los Castillo, Made by Chato and the number 27. Made of silver and copper, it is in good condition, with some tarnish. Has a rollover clasp that holds tightly. Interesting design. Makes a statement!

A vintage modernist unusual Neck ring from Sigi Pineda, Taxco Mexico. This neck ring attaches in the back with a box clasp instead of the usual spring hinge. Much easier to put on! Measures approximately 15" around. Marked Hecho en Mexico, Sigi Tasco, Eagle 36, Sterling and with a design number. In nice condition, has a few scratches and is slightly out of round. Clasp closes tightly. Looks great on!

A beautiful Mexican silver brooch made of silver, Amethyst and Turquoise. We have sold this exact brooch with the Matl Salas mark, but this one is unsigned. Amethyst stones are faceted and are in wonderful condition. Even has a place in the back for a signature. Measures 2 7/8" across and 1 3/4" tall. Has a safety catch which holds fine. One separation of the silver between the curl and the base. Seen more from the back than the front. Stones glistens in the light. Wonderfully made.
