A vintage sterling silver modernist pendant and necklace by Hans Sten and Karl Laine from Sten and Laine in Finland. Pendant reminds us of an abstract spiderweb. Pendant measures 3 1/8" long to the top of the bale and 2 1/8" at the widest. Chain is attached at the bale and closes with a spring clasp that holds tightly. Chain measures about 17" around. Marked on the bale with the hallmark for Sten and Laine, 925H for sterling, Town mark for Turku and T7 for 1972. Very nice condition. Great...

A rare modernist sterling silver bracelet by the noted jewelry teacher and designer, Adda Husted-Andersen. Husted-Andersen taught in NYC at the Craft Student's League and her work was exhibited as part of the 1946 landmark exhibition, "Modern Jewelry Design" at the Museum of Modern Art. An amazing modernist sterling silver ring with an abstract figural design signed with what looks like JPC, Iceland and 925S. Measures about a size 7- 7.5. The top sits 1/2" high and measures about 7/8" across and 1 3/8" long. Has an interesting hammered texture. Really stands out! Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

A modernist sterling silver brooch with a large raw amethyst stone by Charles H. Cole who signed his work with a face hallmark. The facial features spell out his last name. Also signed Sterling. Active 1930s-50s. Measures 1 3/4" long and 1 1/4" wide. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Hand made piece. Pretty purple color.

A very well constructed pair of sterling silver and pearl cufflinks by Jean Lasnier. He was a member of the Metal Arts Guild between 1951-64 with many of the well known studio artisans of the Mid Century Modern jewelry movement. Cufflinks are made from two layers of curved sterling connected at the corners. They have an offset pearl attached to the under layer for a 3D effect. Measure 3/4" square. Toggles swivel. A sterling silver heavy brooch with a floral overlay of hammered sterling by Georg Jensen USA. Measures 1 3/4" long and 1 1/2" across. Marked USA Georg Jensen Inc. Sterling Handwrought and 451. Closes with a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Has a little tarnish. Pin on the clasp has a slight bend in it. Well made, delicate hammering. Rare design.

A modernist sterling silver and glass brooch or pendant signed 925, Zilka Hand Made. Measures 4" across and 2 1/2" high. Has a bale so can be worn on a neck ring or chain and a rollover safety clasp to be worn as a brooch. Nice warm patina. Great organic design.

A very rare sterling silver bracelet by Salvador Teran. Depicts a stylized woman praying, carved out of what looks like bone. Also has one curved bone piece on either side of the center section. Marked Salvador, Sterling, Mexico, Design # 510 and Eagle # 36. Measures 7" around and 1 3/8" at the widest. Has a tongue and box closure which snaps tightly and a safety chain. In wonderful condition with a warm patina. Collector quality.

A fine, unusual sterling silver and pearl two layered brooch in an abstract design. Inside layer has a darkened patina. Has three small pearls attached to the inside. Curved three dimensional design. Measures 2 3/8" across and 1" wide. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Has a cutout mark on the back that may indicate the maker, but we do not recognize it. Has a little tarnish. Well constructed, interesting design.

An Arts and Crafts sterling silver brooch by the Chicago silver firm, Kalo. Measures approximately 1 1/4" high and 2" long. Marked Hand Wrought Sterling Kalo and 107. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Beautiful condition. Nice dark patina.

A modernist brooch by noted mid century silversmith, Frances Holmes Boothby in Sterling Silver and Ebony. This large marlin measures 3 3/4" long and 1 1/2" tall. Lightly hammered. Marked fhb, Sterling on the back. Has a safety rollover clasp that holds tightly. Nice condition, just a few minor scratches and a little tarnish. A wonderful example of Mid Century Modern jewelry.

Has an earlier 'C' clasp. Marked with ND, 925S, Sterling and the Plus sign. Has a dark patina but could be polished up if you choose. Some minor surface scratches. Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

Makers Sterling and with a stylized 'M' for the directorship of John C. Moore II. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Includes dark blue Tiffany & Co. box. Rare find.

A well made pair of sterling silver and ebony cufflinks by noted American Modernist Jeweler, Allan Adler. Measure 5/8" square. Two of the sides are angled in for a clean modernist feel. Signed Allan Adler Sterling on each. Show a little wear and some minor tarnish. Toggles work fine. Great mid century design.

A sterling silver, heavy key chain and fob by noted American Modernist Jeweler, Paul Voltaire. Features a heavy hammered disk attached to a thick curb chain with a hammered squeeze closure key ring at the other end. Measures 6 1/4" long. Marked Paul Voltaire Sterling. Inscribed Breezy, Xmas 1950 on the back of the disk. Very well made. Fine design.

A Fine Etching on wove paper "Fruhlingsabend" (Spring Evening) by the well regarded Art Nouveau artist, Heinrich Vogeler (1872-1942). Image size about 4 3/8" by 7 3/8", overall paper about 7 1/2" by 10 1/4". Pencil signed lower right and monogrammed in print. Rare and beautiful.
