A vintage modernist sterling silver ring with a greyish brown moonstone like cabochon by noted silversmith, Maxwell Chayat. Measures size 7.5. Marked with a partially struck Chayat and Sterling. The ring is in very nice condition, with some tarnish. There is a little bit of roughness to the edge of the cabochon, but most likely was done during production. It was probably resized at one point. Well made and heavy, great mid century design.

A rare hand wrought bracelet by Madeline Turner, a New York City Jeweler who worked from the 1930's to the 1950's. She designed jewelry for Georg Jensen USA. In sterling silver with periwinkle blue art glass cabochons. Marked with her conjoined M Turner hallmark. Measures about 6 1/4" around and about 1" wide. Clasp snaps closed tightly. Has a safety clasp. In very nice condition. A wonderful example of her work.

An unusual sterling silver pendant in an industrial design with copper inlay suspended from a paperclip style chain. Reminds us of a stylized torso similar to the work of Thomas Mann.

Central pendant measures 2 3/8" across and 2 1/8" high. Three dimensional. The four small cubes have layers of copper inlay for an interesting effect. Very well made. Unsigned.

A pair of vintage hammered sterling silver brooches from the American Studio Modernist jeweler, John Lewis, available in two sizes. Great hammered texture. Larger brooch measures about 1 3/4" across and 1 1/2" high. Smaller brooch measures 1 1/2" across and 1 3/8" high. Both pieces are marked Sterling and with the crossed JL mark of the artist. Measures 1 5/8" high and 1/2" at the widest. Marked Georg Jensen in a dotted oval, 925S, Denmark and style 500. Currently suspended on a 23" sterling chain with a secure spring closure.
