A mid century modernist sterling silver pendant or brooch in the style of Paul Lobel.

Pendant measures 2 1/4" long and 7/8" at the widest. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Has a large bale so will accommodate a thick chain or neck ring.

We have paired it with a sterling silver neck ring marked Mexico, 925, TC-188. Measures 16 1/2" around and closes securely with a hook clasp.

Also marked Toño, Pietra Artistica, Hecho en Mexico, Eagle #3, Taxco Sterling, 925, and design number 489. Has a dark green round cabochon in the center and raised green stones in the eye and fins. A fine modernist bracelet by Maya Mexico that is in the iconic Armadillo design made famous by Hector Aguilar. This bracelet, in brass with copper accents measures 7" long and about 2 1/4" across. Unsigned. Hook closure holds securely. Has tarnish and shows wear to the finish. Will let the new owner decide how much to polish. Outstanding design. Heavy and bold.

A vintage modernist sterling silver ring with a greyish brown moonstone like cabochon by noted silversmith, Maxwell Chayat. Measures size 7.5. Marked with a partially struck Chayat and Sterling. The ring is in very nice condition, with some tarnish. There is a little bit of roughness to the edge of the cabochon, but most likely was done during production. It was probably resized at one point. Well made and heavy, great mid century design.

A finely constructed bracelet and matching clip earrings by A & K, Denmark. Streamlined mid century modern curves. Marked Sterling, A&K on the back of each piece. Bracelet measures 7 1/4" long and almost 5/8" across. Has a snap in clasp that holds securely. Earrings measure 1" long and 5/8" at the widest. Clips hold tightly. Very nice condition, minor surface scratches. Nicely textured along the edges. Nice weight, quality set. Great mid century modernist design.

A vintage hand wrought studio sterling silver necklace with a stone drop. Features curved links graduating in size culminating in a greenish brown mottled stone pendant. Measures approximately 19" long. Pendant measures 1 3/4" long and 1 1/4" across. Interesting way that the silver wraps around the stone to hold it in place. Clever hook closure that holds securely. The stone has a hairline mark which actually shows more in the photo than in person. The stone is stable and does not move. ...

A vintage sterling silver geometric pendant with an inlay of exotic wood and a carnelian colored cabochon. Hand wrought intricate chain marked sterling on the hook clasp. Pendant measures 1 5/8" long and 7/8" across. Chain measures 19" long. Chain is original to the pendant, it can't be removed. Fine condition. Interesting contrast between wood and sterling surfaces. Well crafted studio piece.

A vintage pair of sterling silver screw back earrings with moonstone cabochons by Antonio Pineda, Taxco.

Measure 3/4" long and 5/8" wide. Marked with the Antonio crown, and an Early Eagle 17 mark. Screw backs hold securely. Have some tarnish.

A sterling silver modernist brooch by Helen Scheier Adelman, (1909-1999), American Mid Century jeweler. This brooch depicts two antelope in thick polished sterling with a darker bumpy surface enamel background.

Measures 1 3/8" tall and 1 1/8" at the widest. Signed Adelman and Sterling on the back. Nice contrast between the darkened rough and shiny layers. Rollover clasp holds securely. Has some minor surface scratches.

Classic Adelman design.

A very unusual hand wrought copper necklace with lightly hammered curved links. The end of each link slips through a small slit and is then hammered flat so it won't come out. Hard to explain but ingenious!

The necklace measures approximately 34" around. There is no clasp, meant to slide over the head. Unsigned.

In very nice condition with a dark warm patina and lots of attention to detail.

A vintage, modernist sterling silver ring designed by Pentti Sarpaneva for Turun Hopea Oy of Finland.

Design measures 5/8" high and 5/8" across. Ring measures about a 7 and can be adjusted up or down.

Marked with the intertwined TH for Turun Hopea, Crown mark for Finland, 830 for silver standard, Town Mark for Turku and date code U7 for 1973.

Solid and in fine condition. Has some scratches to the band. Great bold design.

A modernist pair of pierced earrings in 830 silver designed by Jorma Laine for Kultateollisuus, Ky of Turku Finland. These earrings feature a stylized face in a sun. The polished face is in contrast to the oxidized background. They measures about 3/4" wide.

One is marked with the mark for Kultateollisuus, Ky, the Finnish National mark and 830, Mark for Turku, V7 for 1974 and Finland. The other is marked 830 for the Finnish silver standard, and Finland. The clutches are not a match, one is...

A vintage sterling silver gilt brooch with green, yellow, teal and orange enamel by David Andersen, in the Seasons series. We believe this is the 'Summer' brooch.

Marked on the back, D-A 925S, Scales, Norway and Sterling.

Measures almost 1 3/4" across and 1 3/8" high. Has a rollover clasp which holds securely.

In fine condition, the enamel is bright and vivid. Classic design.

A pair of vintage brooches from the American Studio Modernist jeweler, John Lewis, one in the shape of a 6 pointed star and the other a whale. Great hammered textures.

The whale measures 3 1/8" long and 5/8" wide. The star measures 1 3/8" across and 1 1/4" high.

Both are marked Sterling and with the crossed JL mark of the artist. The clasps hold securely. They are in fine condition with some minor scratches. Warm patina.

Quality pieces. Classic John Lewis designs.

A Mid Century Modernist sterling silver pendant in a brutalist style signed Macefield for William Mason and Leonard Field, American studio jewelers who worked in Massachusetts in the 1940's -70's.

The pendant measures 1 3/4" long and 3/4" at the widest. Signed Macefield Sterling on the back.

This pendant has been paired with a sterling neck ring that is 13" around with an opening of 1 1/2". It can be adjusted if needed. The neck ring is simply marked 925.

An abstract sterling silver and exotic wood pendant suspended from what looks appears to be the original chain. Signed on the back of the pendant with script initials or characters, 925 and S.S. for sterling silver. The sterling is connected to the wood with rivets for an industrial feel.

The pendant measures 2" long including the bale and about 3/4" across. The 18" hand crafted chain has a secure toggle closure. The pendant has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish.

A sterling silver modernist link bracelet consisting of five rectangular links, each with a distinct geometric overlay. Has oxidized areas for an interesting effect.

Measures 7 1/4" long and 3/4" at the widest. Marked Handwrought Sterling.

A vintage heavy brass hand made drippy brooch with a blue mottled stone. Setting is very organic with tentacles and curves. The stone is held in place by some of the tentacles.

Measures 3" across and 1 3/4" at the widest.

Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Dark patina.
