A three dimensional 916 silver brooch in an Arts and Crafts design by Holger Lindstrom, (1937-1968), Helsinki Finland. Has a concave oxidized center and four pointed onyx bezel set cabochons. There are textured recessed areas around each stone for an interesting contrast.

This hand crafted brooch measures 1 5/8" in diameter and about 3/8" high.

Marked with HGL for the maker, 916H for the silver content, boat for Helsinki and L7 for 1964.

Marked Hand Wrought, Sterling, A. Manca and what looks like an etched 886/5. Has a secure rollover clasp.

Warm patina, fine condition with a little tarnish.

Would look lovely on a lapel.

A vintage modernist brooch with a thick etched sterling rhombus over another open layer by Anna Greta Eker for Norway Designs Studio Plus. Haven't found another example of this brooch.

Measures 2 3/4" long and 2" high. Has a rollover clasp that closes securely. Marked with the stylized ND for Norway Designs Plus Studio, 925S, and A G EKER in script.

Has a little tarnish and some scratches. Some may be able to be buffed out but not where the etching is. Weighs a substantial 28 gr. ...

A vintage modernist sterling silver brooch designed by Gertrude Engel for Anton Michelsen, from Sweden. Measure 1 5/8" across and 1 3/8" high. Has a brown swirled oval cabochon. Marked with the MIC hallmark and the three crowns silver standard mark used by Anton Michelsen when in Stockholm, Sweden from 1946-63. Also marked with S for the town mark, A9 for 1951 and Engel. A rare sterling silver and caged raw purple stone brooch by noted MCM jeweler, Arthur King. Probably amethyst. Unmarked, attributed to Arthur King. We have seen the same brooch signed Sterling, King. The raw amethyst is caged in thick and thinner sterling wire and suspended from a thick curved wire.

Measures 1 3/4" across and 2 1/2" tall.

Has a rolling safety clasp that holds securely. Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish.

Lots of movement. Classic Arthur King design.

A rare sterling silver and caged raw purple stone brooch by noted jeweler, Arthur King. Probably amethyst. Marked on the back, Sterling King. Measures 2 1/8" across and 2 1/8" tall. There is a light gold wash on the silver. Has a rolling safety clasp that holds tightly. There is a small area on the edge of the stone that is a little rough, may be original. Classic Arthur King design.

A vintage hand wrought Sterling Silver reticulated floral brooch. Measures 2 3/4" across and 1 1/4" at the widest. Signed Handwrought, Sterling and with an impressed mark that looks like a flower pot. Has a rollover clasp that hold securely. The brooch is thick sterling and curved, not flat. In fine condition with very minor surface wear and a little tarnish. Classic Arts and Crafts period piece.

A pair of acid etched brass Arts and Crafts period brooches by Marshall Field & Co. Chicago. Larger brooch measures 3 3/8" long and 1 1/2" high. Marked on the back 'Made in Our Craft Shop, Marshall Field & Co.' Smaller brooch measures 2 1/2" across and 2" high. These brooches came together. The smaller one is not marked. Both brooches have 'C' clasps that hold securely. May be purchased as a set or individually.

A vintage brooch and matching screw back earrings by noted silversmith Emily A. Day in a three dimensional curled leaf design.

The brooch measures 1 7/8" long and 1 1/2" at the widest. The rollover clasp holds securely.

The earrings measure 1 3/8" long and 7/8" at the widest. They are opposites so frame the face when worn. The screw backs hold securely.

Signed EA DAY, and Sterling at the back of the brooch and sterling on the screw backs. Have a warm patina.

A wonderfully constructed heavy brooch and matching clip earrings by Bent Knudsen, Denmark. Streamlined curves, thick sterling, very Mid Century. Marked Handmade, Sterling, Denmark, Bent K, and Style #2 on the back of each piece. Brooch measures 2 3/4" long and almost 3/4" across. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. A pair of Taxco Mexico sterling silver pendants; one with a central oval amethyst and one in a Pre Columbian design with a coral colored cabochon by the noted female jeweler, Bernice Goodspeed. May be purchased individually or as a pair.

The pendant with the amethyst measures 2 1/2" long and 1 1/2" at the widest. Currently strung on a black cord. This pendant was originally a brooch and converted by a previous owner.

Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Nice contrast of dark and light and thick and thin sterling. Well crafted, quality piece.
