A vintage modernist unusual Neck ring from Sigi Pineda, Taxco Mexico. This neck ring attaches in the back with a box clasp instead of the usual spring hinge. Much easier to put on! Measures approximately 15" around. Marked Hecho en Mexico, Sigi Tasco, Eagle 36, Sterling and with a design number. In nice condition, has a few scratches and is slightly out of round. Marked on the back, INAH (for Instituto Nacional de Antropologia e Historia), in Mexico City. Also marked Hecho en Mexico, Sterling 0.925 and has the initials of the artisan, JCE.
