An early sterling silver large, heavy brooch or fur clip by Los Castillo in the shape of a flower.

Marked Los Castillo Taxco Sterling Made in Mexico and design #460C. Has a patent number on the back of the clip. Measures 3 1/4" long and 2 1/2" across. Fine condition, some minor scratches to the surface and tarnish.

Heavy and substantial. Classic design.

A vintage brooch by Taxco artisan Enrique Ledesma with a sterling silver overlay on a shell background. There are two small round inlays of copper.

Measures 2 1/2" long and 1 1/2" at the widest. Marked on the back with a partial Ledesma, Taxco, 925, and an Eagle mark. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely.

Fine condition with some tarnish. The shell is a deep brown with lots of swirls.

Rare design.

A large sterling silver brooch by Taxco artisan Enrique Ledesma with a dark green elongated stone. Measures 2 3/4" long and 1 1/8" wide. Marked on the back Ledesma, Mexico, Taxco, 925, BB, Eagle #3 and design number 289. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Has a hairline on the side which doesn't go all the way through. A vintage hand made pendant in hammered brass with Pre Columbian pottery beads and a central mask. Hammered brass neck ring hooks in two places in the center. There are five dangles on the bottom with stone and ceramic beads and hammered brass disks. Central pendant measures 5" long and 2 7/8" across. Neck ring measures about 22" around. Etched signature on the back, 'Donna Brown'. Reminiscent of the work of Annette Nancarrow and Maya Mexico. Well made, bold design.

A triangular sterling silver modernist bracelet by Jondell, Mexico. Measures about 7 1/2" around the inside and 9 1/2" around the outside. Measures 1/4" at the widest. Slips onto my average size wrist easily.

Marked Jondell, Mexico and 925. Although it is hollow, it is made from thick sterling and has a substantial feel.

In fine condition with minor scuffs.

A vintage very large Pal Kepenyes Milagros necklace. Brass with a copper wash on some of the Milagros. Signed Pal Kepenyes in script on the back. Measures about 17" around. Hook closure. Very nice condition. Incredible design!

A modernist sterling silver necklace with a large central pendant depicting a hunter with two deer by Los Castillo. Two layered shadowbox design.

Marked Los Castillo Taxco around Eagle 15, and design #115. Pendant measures 3 1/4" across and 2 1/8" tall. Necklace is a total of 15" long. Has a box clasp that holds securely. Fine condition, some minor scratches to the surface and tarnish. Some small dings to the edges that are mostly seem from the back. Some wear to the oxidization.

A vintage pair of sterling silver screw back earrings by Margot de Taxco, ( Margot Van Voorhies Carr), number 5417, in a knot or pretzel design. Measure 3/4" high and 7/8" across. Marked Made in Mexico Sterling, Margot de Taxco and 5417. Also marked with Eagle #16. Screw backs hold securely. Very nice condition. Estate fresh. An Art Deco style silver bracelet from Mexico with seven bullet shaped prong set amethyst cabochons. The stones have some inclusions.

Marked Mexico Silver on the back. Probably 980 which is better than sterling and was commonly used at the time. Measures 6 1/2" long, 1/2" wide and 3/4" high. Box clasp holds securely.

The stones are held in place by long hand made prongs. The stones wiggle a little bit. The clasp has a curled hand made button. Has minor surfaces scratches and tarnish....

A vintage silver repousse cuff bracelet with a central carved onyx mask. Two silhouettes of Pre Columbian warriors facing the mask which is surrounded by a repousse of an animal with the mouth opened. Measures 6 1/4" around with an opening of 1". Measures 1 5/8" wide. Coin silver or better. Fine condition. Pre Eagle, ( pre 1948).

A fine modernist bracelet by Maya Mexico that is in the iconic Armadillo design made famous by Hector Aguilar. This bracelet, in brass with copper accents measures 7" long and about 2 1/4" across. Unsigned. Hook closure holds securely. Has tarnish and shows wear to the finish. Will let the new owner decide how much to polish. Outstanding design. Heavy and bold.

A whimsical brooch made of one layer of 950 silver and two layers of Faux Tortoise Shell in the shape of a fish. Has silver inlay for the eye. Measures 2 1/2" long and 1 7/8" high. Has a rollover safety clasp which holds securely. Marked 950 AR on the clasp. Has some minor scratches and tarnish. Fun design.

A Vintage Modernist abstract clamper cuff bracelet made of Sterling Silver signed Zagal Tasco. Measures approximately 7" around and 1 7/8" at the widest. Marked Zagal, Tasco, Hecho en Mexico, and Sterling on the inside. Marked with eagle #3 also. In very fine condition. Some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. Heavy and well made. Spring is tight. Great organic design.

A very rare sterling silver bracelet by Salvador Teran. Depicts a stylized woman praying, carved out of what looks like bone. Also has one curved bone piece on either side of the center section. Marked Salvador, Sterling, Mexico, Design # 510 and Eagle # 36. Measures 7" around and 1 3/8" at the widest. Has a tongue and box closure which snaps tightly and a safety chain. In wonderful condition with a warm patina. Collector quality.

An unusual pair of sterling silver modernist earrings by Salvador Teran. Marked Salvador, Sterling, Mexico and 140 for the style number. Pre eagle.

Measure 1 1/2" long and 7/8" wide. Screw backs hold securely.

Depict some kind of highly stylized creature. Haven't been able to find another pair with this style number. Great modernist design!

A sterling silver bracelet from Taxco in a modernist design. Made up of twelve hinged concave links in the style of Antonio Pineda.

Marked Santos, Taxco, 925 for sterling and Eagle #3.

Measures 7" around and 3/4" wide.

Has a tongue and box closure which snaps securely.

Has some tarnish and minor nicks and scratches. Weighs 46 Gr.

A vintage sterling silver cuff bracelet with a central long wooden bead crafted by the well respected silversmith, Sergio Gomez, who is the nephew of Antonio Pineda.

The wooden bead is raised from the cuff and suspended between 2 silver spheres. The wooden bead measures 1 5/8" long. The cuff measures 5 3/4" around with an opening of 1 1/4". Can probably be adjusted slightly. Measures 2 1/4" at the widest. Weighs 45 gr.

A vintage modernist clamper bracelet from Sigi Pineda, Taxco Mexico. Two beveled ends meet in the center. Measures approximately 7" around. Marked Hecho en Mexico, Sigi Tasco, Eagle #, Sterling and with a design number 406. In fine condition, has a few scratches. Spring hinge closes tightly. Nice weight. High quality piece.
