A vintage modernist brooch by noted African American mid century jeweler, Winifred Mason Chenet in copper with 5 dangles. This rare and early brooch was done when she just signed her work Mason, prior to adding the Chenet d'Haiti in the early 1950s.

Measures 2 1/8" across and 3" high including the dangles. Made of oxidized copper with raised graduated bumps. The balls and chains are brass and the hooks connecting the balls are copper for an interesting contrast.

An Art Deco style sterling silver bracelet from Mexico with four bezel set amethyst carved masks alternating with domes and curved bars. The stones have some inclusions. We have seen the same bracelet with the FD mark for Fred Davis.

Marked Sterling Mexico on the clasp. Measures 7 1/4" long and 1 1/8" wide. Box clasp holds securely. Has some minor surfaces scratches, a few dings on the sides, some tiny flea bites to the amethyst and a little tarnish.

A modernist pendant in 830 silver designed by Jorma Laine for Kultateollisuus, Ky of Turku Finland.

This abstract pendant features a person on a swing that can be seen from the front or back. It measures 2 5/8" long and 1 1/4" wide. Original chain measures 23" long and has a secure spring clasp. Chain is marked with the mark for Kultateollisuus, Ky, the Finnish National mark and 830S. Pendant is marked 830S for the Finnish silver standard, and Finland. Fine condition, minor tarnish.

A very unusual hand made copper necklace with eight curled dangles and a central amber colored teardrop. Lightly hammered curved figure eight shaped links. The dangles have little brass beads at each end.

The necklace measures approximately 18" around. Longest drop is 3 1/2". Hook clasp is on the side and holds securely.

Has a few minor areas of verdigris. Heavy, thick copper.

A very well constructed pair of sterling silver and pearl cufflinks by Jean Lasnier. He was a member of the Metal Arts Guild between 1951-64 with many of the well known studio artisans of the Mid Century Modern jewelry movement. A vintage pair of sterling silver screw back earrings by Margot de Taxco, (Margot Van Voorhies Carr), number 5376, with blue confetti enamel. Opposites so frame the face when worn.

Measure 7/8" high and 3/4" across. Marked Made in Mexico Sterling, Margot de Taxco and 5376. Also marked with Eagle #16.

Screw backs hold securely. Very nice condition with some tarnish. Hard to find design.

A sterling silver modernist bangle bracelet by noted Mid Century jeweler, Caroline Gleick Rosene. This bracelet is textured on some surfaces and smooth on others for an interesting contrasting effect. Marked Sterling Rosene on the inside. The mark is partially struck. A vintage sterling silver modernist ring by Hans Sten and Karl Laine from Sten and Laine in Finland. Reminds us of an abstract spiderweb. Measures about a size 7 but is adjustble. Top measures 1 1/8" wide and 1 1/4" high. Marked with the hallmark for Sten and Laine, 925H for sterling, Town mark for Turku and T7 for 1972. Very nice condition. Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

A well crafted, hand wrought lightly hammered sterling necklace with what we think is a carnelian cabochon on a dangling pendant. It is signed on the back with a stylized 'T' and sterling.

A modernist large brooch by the noted NYC jeweler, Paul Lobel. Made of sterling silver with a wire overlay. Signed on the back, LOBEL, Sterling.

Measures 1 3/4" across and 3 3/4" high. Has a rollover closure that holds securely. Has some tarnish, minor surface scratches and a little extra solder where the wire is attached which is original. Could also be worn as a pendant with a chain through the large loop.
