Marked with ICO for the maker, Crown mark for Sweden, Z8 for 1950, Town mark for Stockholm, and the Silver Standard mark for Sweden. Measures about 7 1/4" long and 1/2" wide. A vintage sterling silver modernist brooch by well known Polish Silversmith, Marcin Zaremski. Looks like a watermelon slice. Measures 2 3/4" long and approximately 1/2" across. Has a trombone clasp that holds tightly. Marked with his 'eye' logo and intertwined MJZ, m. zaremski, and 925 for sterling. In very nice condition with a few scratches and a tiny bit of roughness to the underside edge, not really visible from the front. Great clean lines and mid century simplicity.

A vintage modernist sterling silver pendant by Elis Kauppi for Kupittaan Kulti Oy, Turku Finland. A sleek simple design with a round bale and brownish green swirled art glass cabochon, (could be a gem stone). Measures about 1 5/8" long and almost 3/4" across. Very three dimensional. In very nice condition with minor tarnish. Marked with the Anvil, National mark, and 916 and H for Hopea which is the Finnish word for Silver. Great example of Scandinavian modernist jewelry.

An important early brooch of sterling silver by the acclaimed American modernist jeweler, Margaret De Patta. Measures 3" long and 1 5/8" at the widest. Early incised maker's mark. Circa 1935. Heavy layered sterling in an abstract floral design. Wonderful condition, with some very minor surface scratches and tarnish. Missing the rollover bar on the clasp. Slight bend on the pin. A similar De Patta brooch can be seen in the Philips de Pury Design Auction dated May 24, 2007, lot number 189....
