A vintage sterling silver brooch by Asheville, North Carolina silversmith, John Bryan. Active in the 50s-60. Brooch measures 3" long and 2 1/2" wide. Three dimensional vine design. Signed Sterling Bryan. Has a rollover safety clasp that hold tightly. Very nice condition with a little tarnish and minor surface scratches. Wonderful organic design.

A beautiful Mexican silver brooch made of sterling silver, Amethyst, Coral and Turquoise. Amethyst stones are faceted and are in very nice condition with some minor inclusions. Signed on the back Hecho en Mexico 925 around the initials JGD. Measures 2 3/4" across and 2 1/2" tall. Has a safety catch which holds fine. Stones glisten in the light. Wonderfully made. This bracelet is about 6 1/2" long including the box clasp which snaps tightly. Measures 1 1/4" across. Marked Sterling, Denmark, 925S and N. E. From. Shows wear and surface scratches which could possibly be buffed out. Also has an inscription near the clasp which reads Golden Oval 1971. Great example of Scandinavian modern design. A vintage sterling silver abstract modernist ring from the shop of Walter Wright, a Los Angeles jeweler. Wright was an associate of Margaret De Patta and sold her work and other modernist jewelry. A five sided central design with three dimensional circles and bars coming off a blackened background. Approximately a size 10. Marked Walter Wright Sterling. Has some tarnish, a few scratches on the back of the band and a little wear to the black. Great example of mid-century modern studio jewelry.
