A vintage sterling silver modernist brooch by well known Polish Silversmith, Marcin Zaremski. Looks like a watermelon slice. Measures 2 3/4" long and approximately 1/2" across. Has a trombone clasp that holds tightly. Marked with his 'eye' logo and intertwined MJZ, m. zaremski, and 925 for sterling. In very nice condition with a few scratches and a tiny bit of roughness to the underside edge, not really visible from the front. Great clean lines and mid century simplicity.

An interesting sterling silver and onyx modernist brooch or pendant. Constructed similar to the works of Pal Kepenyes. This can be worn with the 'point' up as a pendant on a chain or neck wire or with it down as a brooch. Measures approximately 2" long by 1 3/4" across. Marked on the back with what looks like 925 for sterling and an unreadable maker's mark. Has a safety clasp. Onyx has a slight rubbed area. Great design. Quality work.

Signed with 925 and some very tiny hallmarks impossible to read. Looks like it may have a thistle for Scotland. Has a 'C' clasp that holds tightly. Very nice condition.

A vintage sterling silver brooch by noted Ecuadorian modernist, Joaquin Tinta. This brooch, in the shape of a dove, has a light blue cabochon for an eye and a layered wing. Measures 2 1/8" across and 1 5/8" high. Marked Sterling, Tinta and Ecuador. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Has some minor scratches and a little tarnish. Well constructed, nice weight and great design.

An interesting necklace and earrings set by modernist jeweler, Pericles Haiti. Necklace consists of 16 copper oval links with a three dimensional amoeba design. Measures 16 1/2" long and 3/4" wide. Hook closure. Marked Pericles Haiti on the back. Matching earrings have the amoeba design on the bottom and the same finish on the back as the necklace, but are not signed. Came out of the same estate. Measure 2 1/2" long and 1" across. Screw backs hold tightly, one may have been replaced...

A pair of sterling silver pierced earrings depicting some kind of birds. Marked on the back Sterling and with a mark that looks like two bird feet in a rectangle for the Israeli artist, Shula Shek. The wire that goes through your ear has a notch to keep the earring from sliding forward. Very clever construction. Have a little tarnish but will let the next owner decide how much to polish. Fun, whimsical design.

A pair of screw back earrings by Francisco Rebajes in his King of Hearts motif. In silver toned metal. Signed Rebajes on the back. Screw back earrings work fine. Earrings measure 1 1/4" long from the ball to the bottom of the face and 3/4" across. Good condition, wear to the finish. Hard to find design. Very cool!

This ring is currently a size 7 1/2, but it is adjustable. Signed with Sterling 925, Taxco around what looks like the initials 'JSF', and Mexico. Has an eagle #3 mark on the shank. Very nice condition, with a little tarnish. Cool design. Makes a statement!

After working at Gorham and having his own shops in Chicago and New York, he opened a shop in Hollywood and designed for the stars. Returned to Denmark in 1939. This clip measures 1 3/4" long and 1 3/8" across. Marked with the conjoined EM monogram, Sterling, ERIK M. and Hollywood. Spring in clips still holds.
