A striking pair of earrings by Winifred Mason Chenet, who is known to have signed her work chenet d'haiti. According to published reports Winifred Mason Chenet was an African American woman hand crafting jewelry in Greenwich Village. She reportedly worked with and trained Art Smith, a well respected African American modernist jeweler. She believed that each piece should be unique and distinctive. A Fine Etching on wove paper "Fruhlingsabend" (Spring Evening) by the well regarded Art Nouveau artist, Heinrich Vogeler (1872-1942). Image size about 4 3/8" by 7 3/8", overall paper about 7 1/2" by 10 1/4". Pencil signed lower right and monogrammed in print. Rare and beautiful.

An unusual pair of Mexican sterling silver screw back earrings in a flower design. Petals move and can be adjusted to be evenly spread out or bunched together. Measure 1 1/4" across. Marked on the back of one with AE in a heart shaped M and Eagle 23 on the back of the other. Screw backs work fine. Very nice condition, some minor tarnish and surface scratches. Look very cool on.

Will leave the polishing to the new owner if they choose.

Signed with her Tulip mark on the necklace and FRIDL, Sterling, Tulip, and the number 32 on each earring. The findings on the earrings are also marked sterling. A vintage modernist sterling silver pendant by Elis Kauppi for Kupittaan Kulti Oy, Turku Finland. A sleek simple design with a round bale and brownish green swirled art glass cabochon, (could be a gem stone). Measures about 1 5/8" long and almost 3/4" across. Very three dimensional. In very nice condition with minor tarnish. Marked with the Anvil, National mark, and 916 and H for Hopea which is the Finnish word for Silver. Great example of Scandinavian modernist jewelry.
