A Fine High Glaze Trivet from Newcomb College. Quite early, probably circa 1901. Marks on back include NC for Newcomb College, JM for the potter, Joseph Meyer, H J for the decorator, Harriet Joor. Other marks are U for the white clay, P in a shield and a couple of other marks under the glaze that can not be deciphered. Measures about 5 7/8" across. Shows some roughness and flakes to the edge. Rare and unique.

An iconic brooch and earring set in sterling silver with a gold wash and enamel by A. Dragsted, Copenhagen, Denmark. Designed by Erik Magnussen in the 1950's, these 5 geese are supposed to represent the five Scandinavian countries. The brooch measures 2 1/2" long and 1" across. Closes with a rollover locking clasp. The earrings measure 1" long and 1/2" across. All pieces are marked with a crown, A. Dragsted, Sterling and Denmark. In very nice condition. Classic design.

A silver (probably sterling) and green stone scarab brooch in an Arts and Crafts design. Not sure what the stone is, but it is translucent. Measures 1 3/4" across and 7/8" tall. Has an earlier 'C' clasp. This vintage hand made brooch has a warm patina and is in very good condition.

An unusual pair of Mexican sterling silver screw back earrings in a flower design. Petals move and can be adjusted to be evenly spread out or bunched together. Measure 1 1/4" across. Marked on the back of one with AE in a heart shaped M and Eagle 23 on the back of the other. Screw backs work fine. Very nice condition, some minor tarnish and surface scratches. Look very cool on.

An early cross brooch in Sterling Silver with Coral, Amethyst and Mother of Pearl by Matilde Poulat. Measures 1 5/8" across and 1 7/8" tall. Marked MATL, 925 and also has an etched 'E'. Has a squiggle of silver attached to the bottom by two rings. Amethyst stone is faceted. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Has a little tarnish. Very unusual combination of stones.

A pair of vintage sterling silver and what looks like tortoise shell (not quite sure what it is made of) cuff links in an abstract 'S' pattern. Measure 7/8" long and 1/2" across. Nice that the patterns are opposite each other. Marked Taxco, Mexico, 925 around the initials CBS. Has an Eagle #3. Very nice condition, some minor tarnish. One of the findings is slightly bent. Very cool design!

A vintage modernist pair of sterling silver and green stone cuff links by Elis Kauppi for Kupittaan Kulta Oy, Turku Finland. Measure about 7/8" long and 1/2" across. Marked with the Anvil and 925S on one side of each toggle and Finland on the other. In very nice condition with minor tarnish and a small fleck to the edge of each stone. Not sure what the green gem is, has a translucent quality. Great example of Scandinavian modernist jewelry.

A wonderful pair of modernist earrings by Maya Mexico that match the iconic Armadillo bracelet. These screw back earrings, in brass with copper accents measure 2 1/4" long from the top of the screw back and about 2" across. Marked Maya Mexico on the back of each screw back. Screw backs close tightly. In very nice condition with minor wear. Outstanding design.

A vintage modernist sterling and Tiger's Eye geometric bracelet. Consists of silver overlapping links with inlaid chunks of stone connected by hinges. Marked inside Hecho en Mexico, style 313 and the artisan's initials which look like a conjoined AC. Clasp snaps securely. Has an interesting safety chain. Measures 6 1/2" long and 5/8" across. Stones have a beautiful golden glow. Well constructed and in very nice condition. Reminiscent of the work of Antonio Pineda.
