A vintage sterling silver brooch by the brother of Antonio Pineda. Marked Pineda's Taxco in a crown, 925, TP-17 for the registration number and Mex. Depicts some Pre-Columbian figures in raised design. Measures 1 3/4" long and 1" wide. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Interesting design.

A fine, unusual sterling silver and pearl two layered brooch in an abstract design. Inside layer has a darkened patina. Has three small pearls attached to the inside. Curved three dimensional design. Measures 2 3/8" across and 1" wide. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Has a cutout mark on the back that may indicate the maker, but we do not recognize it. Has a little tarnish. Well constructed, interesting design.
A Fine Watercolor by the Early Texas Artist, Stella Elmendorf Tylor (1885-1980). Born in San Antonio, Tylor graduated from the College of Industrial Arts in Denton in 1910, after which she went on to New York and studied with Robert Henri. After traveling to Europe, she returned to Texas after teaching in Canada. She then took a degree in Architecture and Design at the University of Texas, Austin (1915). She taught in Wisconsin and Illinois, before finally returning to San Antonio...
A well crafted sterling silver and amethyst fish brooch. Has a purple amethyst cabochon for his eye. Well hallmarked with Sterling, Hecho en Mexico, 925, Taxco, the artisan's initials LJD, and the style number 2034. Measures 2 3/4" long and 1 1/8" high. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Fish appears to be smiling. Great whimsical design.
A stylized bird in sterling silver and enamel by Graziella Laffi. Has a tongue! Also has cut outs on the body. Measures 1 5/8" across and 1 1/4" tall. Marked Peru, Laffi 925 on the back. Rollover clasp holds tightly. In nice vintage condition, has some very minor surface scratches and a bit of tarnish. Green enamel eye. Great unique design!
A vintage sterling silver and amethyst brooch in a Fred Davis design. Marked Mexican Sterling with the Eagle #22 which was used for Sanborn's when Davis was the manager. Measures 1 1/8" across. Sterling is in great condition, new owner may choose to polish. Amethyst has natural occlusions, a very small chip near the edge of the bezel and a few very tiny rough spots. Has rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Circa 1948-78.
A vintage silver brooch depicting a bird with a turquoise eye. Marked with the UITA 22 stamp for the United Indian Traders Association and Kirk's Trading Post, Manuelito, New Mexico. Also, scratched on back is what appears to be "L50". Measures about 1 7/8" across and 1 3/8" tall. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Some minor surface scratches and light tarnish. Nice warm patina.

An unusual Silver Metal and Exotic Wood box by Los Castillo, Taxco. Marked Los Castillo Taxco Hecho en Mexico on the underside of the top. Not sure of the silver toned metal, silver plate?, pewter? It is heavy and solid. Stylized design on box probably represents Sagittarius. Measures 4" long x 2 1/4" wide x 1 3/8" high. Nice quality and in great condition.

In very nice condition with minor tarnish. Marked with the Anvil, Finland and 925S. Great example of Scandinavian modernist jewelry.
A heavy sterling silver choker necklace by Taller de Los Ballesteros in a classic Antonio Pineda Thumbprint design. Marked with Taller de Los Ballesteros, 925 Taxco Mexico around the letter B. Also marked Mexico, Hecho en Mexico and 925. Measures about 15" around and 1/2" wide. Clasp snaps closed tightly. There is a slight ding along the side near the clasp and a spot on the underside where it looks like it may have been tested. Has some tarnish and minor surface scratches...
