| A vintage Mexican silver brooch and earring set inlaid with copper and brass in the shape of fish. Signed Metales Casados and Hecho en Mexico on the back of the brooch and one earring. Brooch measures 2 1/4" long and 1 1/2" wide. Has a safety clasp. Screw back earrings each measure 1 3/8" long and 1" across. Screw backs work fine. New owner may choose to polish. Heavy tarnish in spots. Light surface scratches. There is a little roughness near the fish brooch's mouth. Not very noticeable, but you can feel it with your fingernail. A very nicely made set, good weight and quality. Pre 1948. | ||
