An outstanding vintage modernist sterling silver necklace and earrings by studio jeweler, Fridl Blumenthal. Signed with her Tulip mark on the necklace and FRIDL, Sterling, Tulip, and the number 32 on each earring. The findings on the earrings are also marked sterling. Heavy sterling silver with sterling overlay on niello. Necklace measures approximately 14" around and the 'pendant' is 1" wide. Earrings measure 1 1/4" long and 3/4" across. Necklace has a hook closure. Screw backs work fine. Set is in beautiful condition with some tarnish and minor surface scratches. Necklace could be lengthened with an extender. A wonderful and rare find.
