| A Vintage Brooch made in Taxco, Mexico by well known Silversmith Artemio Navarrete. Navarrete helped William Spratling start his original workshop, Taller de Las Delicias in Taxco in 1931. Measures approximately 1 3/4" square. Marked Taxco, the Conjoined AV for Artemio Navarrete and 940 for the silver content ( better than sterling). Has safety catch. In very good condition, some light scratches. Nice heavy weight and quality. Solid, not hollow. Great classic design. Pre-eagle ~ Pre 1948. | ||
