Our main areas of interest are American and European paintings, sculptures, and graphics of the 20th century (mainly from the twenties to the sixties), especially Modernist and Abstract; French Art Pottery (Art Nouveau and Art Deco, by Charles and Pierre Greber, Langlade, Lourioux, Pierrefonds, Metenier, Lachenal, CAB, Denbac, etc.); Belgian Art Pottery, mainly but not only of the Bouffioulx school (Roger Guerin, Edgard Aubry, etc.); Scandinavian mid-century art pottery; Antique tribal oriental rugs and textiles (including animal trappings, flat weaves--kilims, soumaks, jajims-- and emboideries); Arts and Crafts period furniture and decorations; and Japanese art (woodblocks, metal work, ceramics, furniture, etc.).
We are of course interested in purchasing, selling, trading, and appraising for a modest fee, any items which might fit the previous description. However, our interests are constantly expanding, and we are always looking for new areas in which the creative impulse has given form and existence to beautiful objects.
