Terracotta head of Buddha (Gandharan, 1st to 4th Century A.D.). Mounted on stand. A Buddha with rather unusual features, but retaining his traditional characteristics (elongated ears, enigmatic but benevolent smile). 6 1/2" on his stand, over 4" sculpture alone. Extremely rare pair of Louis Lourioux (France, 1874-1930) Art Deco Lamps, each decorated front and back with a kneeling nude under a blooming tree. Both signed with the mark of the faun playing the flute. Circa 1920. Original fittings. The total height of the lamps is 19". The ceramic base alone measures 11 1/2" in height and 8 1/2 " across. Museum quality large Phayao, northern Thailand, Lan Na Kingdom period, brown and olive-glazed baluster storage jar, 1300-1500 AD. 17 1/4" tall, roughly 13" in diameter. This jar is decorated with four bands of stamped motifs, including twin fish (first band), elephants (second band), floral motifs and others. Pre Columbian Colima (Western Mexico) vessel in the form of a seated male figure. 300BC to 300AD. This sculpture/vessel measures 10 1/4" in height, 6 1/2" across, and is 6" deep. Burnished reddish brown terracotta, with a dark fire bloom behind the right ear. A serene, meditative expression appears to have been the intent of the artist. Provenance: from an important collection of Pre-Columbian artifacts in Charlotte, NC.

Large ritual Pre-Columbian incensario, Mixtec-Zapotec, West Mexico, presumably representing a corn god. Pre 900 AD. 15" high, 17" deep. This type of ritual object is quite rare. Oversize (almost 18" tall) double-gourd shaped Kinkozan Satsuma vase, circa 1880. This outstanding vase is signed (appears to read: "Dai Nihon--Kinkozan Tsukuru").
