Antique Persian Safavid textile brocaded with silk and gold. Lined with a later 19th century brocade. Approximately 26" square.

Large antique Native American storage basket, circa 1890-1910. Appears to have originated in the North West United States, presumably Skokomish. Some edge damage, otherwise in good condition. Approximately 13" in diameter.

Rare antique Persian Kubachi ware bowl or charger featuring two peacocks in a garden and racing horses on its outer rim. Heavy cracquelure as expected in such a piece. 15 1/2" in diameter and 3" deep.

19th century Japanese Imari charger with figures of samurai on a vivid red enamel ground. 18 1/2" in diameter.

Han dynasty Chinese terracotta stove model. BC 206-AD 220. Traces of green glaze. Repaired.

Ko Kutani "mountain bowl" enameled in yellow, aubergine, green and blue with a mountain landscape. Fu Ku mark. Edo/Tokugawa period. 8 1/2 across, 3 1/2" high. One of two of this type currently available.

Qing Dynasty Chinese Dehua Blanc de Chine porcelain tripod incense burner on carved stand. Figural tripod supports and elephant head handles. One leg repaired.

A very unusual Charles Greber vase with organic decoration in pale orange-brown over a charcoal background, incised signature, also marked "Made in France". Excellent condition. 12cm high, 18cm across.

Extremely rare funerary spool-shaped terracotta vessel created by the Akan people of Ghana, 19th-20th century, with incised simple geometric decoration. A very large example of this rare pottery form (15" in diameter, 7" high) believed to have been created to honor the dead in "places of pots" or asensie.

Early Historic Period Khmer (Cambodia) large kendi jar, 2nd to 8th Century, pale yellow ware with traces of pigment remaining on the neck. Roughly 10" high by 11 1/2" across. For similar examples cf."Khmer Ceramics: Beauty and Meaning" by Dawn Rooney, pp. 178-179. One of three similar kendis currently available. Please inquire.

Museum quality large Phayao, northern Thailand, Lan Na Kingdom period, brown and olive-glazed baluster storage jar, 1300-1500 AD. 17 1/4" tall, roughly 13" in diameter. This jar is decorated with four bands of stamped motifs, including twin fish (first band), elephants (second band), floral motifs and others. Some condition issues, but overall integrity of the jar has been preserved. Please inquire.

Oversize (almost 18" tall) double-gourd shaped Kinkozan Satsuma vase, circa 1880. This outstanding vase is signed (appears to read: "Dai Nihon--Kinkozan Tsukuru"). This vase was repaired early in its career with four metal staples. An extremely rare form. Displays a wonderful tension between the formal middle apron and the zen-like top and bottom.

Antique (19th Century) Central or Western Anatolian prayer or altar kilim, in beautiful condition. 3'4" by 7'2". All natural dyes, complete sides and ends. Two well done old repairs lower left. From a design standpoint this kilim is arranged like an Obruk kilim (the pointed hooked mirhab topped with a tree of life design, and flanked in the spandrels by two more such designs). However the color palette and the feel are not typically Obruk. From a Charlotte, NC estate.

Classic antique Kashgai (Qashqa'i) saddlebag front or face, made into a large pillow, circa 1890-1910. Fine weave, all natural dyes. Roughly 23" by 24".

French Art Deco vase made by CAB (Ceramique d'Art de Bordeaux) for Ovington, New York, circa 1920. Incised "CAB", "323"?, and "Made in France" in a square, also inscribed "Ovington New York" and "France". 7 1/2" high and 7" across. In excellent condition.
