Original oil painting on canvas by Eugene Szirovecz (American, 1936-2008). This painting is beautifully framed and measures 24" by 36" (painting alone). It is signed and dated l.m. It is offered in excellent condition. Szirovecz was a California artist who specialized in painting the nude. One of three works by this artist currently available. Provenance: estate of the artist.

Original oil on masonite (36 x 24)by Paul D. Natkin, contemporary artist from Seattle (solo exhibits at the Davidson Gallery, Pioneer Square). The painting is titled "...thinking distant thoughts..." and dates from 1998. It is one of the many representations the artist has created of a specific Seattle viewpoint which has fascinated him for many years.

Large original oil painting on canvas by James Hennessey (American, 20th Century). This work measures 48" by 48" (slightly more in its original strip frame). It is signed "Hennessey" and dated (81) l.r. It is also signed "James Hennessey" and dated on the stretcher. A wonderful large Italian inspired work with a fresco-like facture by a painter who taught at the Maryland Institute College of Art for many years and traveled through Italy for as many years...

Original acrylic on canvas by Herb Jackson (American, NC, born 1945). 30" by 22" canvas alone, 33 1/2" by 25 1/2" in its original gallery frame. This painting is signed, titled "Blue Gate" and dated 1987 verso. It also bears the original label from the Jerald Melberg Gallery in Charlotte NC. Herb Jackson is a well-known American abstract Expressionist. He had over 150 solo exhibitions in the US and abroad, and his work is represented in over 100 museums.

Original painting/calligraphy by Jacques Le Roux (French, 1923-2010), on antique paper, possibly influenced by Mayan iconography. This work is still in the artist's original frame and bears the artist's label verso. In excellent original condition. As a painter Jacques Le Roux exhibited alongside Picasso and Miro. He was influenced by the Surrealists and Andre Breton, whom he met at the end of WWII...

Original oil painting on canvas by Edgar Yaeger (USA, 1904-1997), signed and dated 1984 l.r. Also bearing gallery label from the Cincinnati Art Galleries stating the title of the work ("The Overlook"). Yaeger's work has been shown in such venues as the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Detroit Institute of Art, the Corcoran Gallery, the AIC, PAFA, etc. One of two works by this artist currently available.

It also bears a gallery label with the name of the artist, the title, the medium, and the size of the painting (11" by 14", 12 1/2" by 15 1/2" in its original frame). Joan Thorne is an important contemporary New York-based American artist who describes her art as "metaphysical abstraction"...

Original oil painting on panel by famed classical realist artist D. Jeffrey Mims (USA, North Carolina, born 1954). This painting measures 14" by 12" in its frame (10" by 8" painting alone). Signed lower right and dated 1982. Framed by Coffey and Thompson, Inc and the Annex Gallery in Charlotte NC in the eighties. In excellent condition.

Original drawing/sketch created on the first page of the book "Andre Brasilier Lithographe" by Andre Brasilier (France, born 1929). This work is accompanied by an inscription that reads "Pour Samantha Finney en hommage bien amical" followed by the signature of the artist.

Oversize original oil painting (oil and methacrylate on canvas) by Pat Adams (American, Vermont, born 1938). 70"by 84". Painted in 1980,and exhibited in the Pat Adams retrospective exhibition at the Berkshire Museum in 1988--still bears the exhibition label. In excellent original condition, and measuring 12" by 15" in its original frame. W. Louis Jones in an important North Carolina artist. He has been widely exhibited since the early seventies, including a solo show at the San Francisco Museum of Art in 1986...

This painting measures 27" by 47", painting alone and 34" by 54" in its original frame. It is signed and dated 72 l.r. Provenance: from the artist's personal collection. Robert Lohman was a sculptor and a painter. He studied at John Herron Art Institute, at Cranbrook under Carl Milles, and at Yale. He was director of Fine Arts at Cranbrook from 1947 to 1949...

Steven Clippinger is a noted American artist who worked in Florida and in California. Works in numerous private and corporate collections, including the Price Waterhouse Collection, Rochester Institute of Technology, etc.

It measures 8.5" by 29" in its slender custom brass frame. It is signed Hennessy l.r and dated 75. It is also signed, dated (21 July 75), and titled "The Cave of Ali Baba" on the reverse. Hennessy is an abstract painter active in New York who has been a participant in the resurgence of Abstraction in the last few decades...
