Pulled by Joseph Hecht in Paris in 1938 as #9 in the "Africa" portfolio on Montval paper, signed and numbered "35" by the artist, in an edition of 100. In excellent condition. Offered framed and with the original portfolio cover with an engraving of African masks on brown wove paper.

This Francisco de Goya etching was published as a frontispiece to the 1922 Delteil edition of "Le Peintre Graveur Illustre". In beautiful original unframed condition.

Rare oversize original etching by Frank Brangwyn (England-Wales, born in Belgium, 1867-1956) of Notre Dame De Paris. Signed in pencil by the artist lower right. This work is #231 in the Catalogue Raisonne, and dates from 1914. 22" by 29" etching alone, 35" by 42" in its period frame. Brangwyn is an important artist of the Arts and Crafts period.

This portfolio contains 10 etchings of Haiti (plus one attached to the portfolio cover) and is number 24 out of fifty sets. All the etchings are pencil signed and titled by the artist. Hirst Dillon Milhollen is an American artist from Virginia who for years ran the prints and photographs division of the Library of Congress...

This work is complete--portfolio case plus all original material, including the 25 soft ground etchings individually pencil signed by the artist and numbered 37/100. Published in 1967 by Touchstone Publishers on handmade BFK Rives wove paper. This portfolio was inspired by the "Dreigroschen Oper" film by Pabst, after the play by Bertold Brecht (The Threepenny Opera)...

The plate measures 17 1/4" by 7 1/2 " (44cm by 19cm). The framed dimensions are 26" by 15". Appears to be in excellent condition. Pierre Courtin in one of the most important master engravers of the 20th century.
