Original bronze sculpture with dark patina by Sigmund (Sig) Abeles (American, SC, born 1934). This work in beautiful condition was cast in an edition of 6. This particular bronze is signed and numbered 1/6. The casting size is 13 3/4" by 7 1/3" by 4". With its beautiful hardwood base it measures roughly 16" by 10" by 5 1/2". Circa 1967. Sigmund Abeles is an important American artist. He studied at the ASL with Harry Sternberg and Reginald Marsh, at Pratt, at Skowhegan, etc...

Original unique gray Carrara marble sculpture by Francine Richman (France, Canada, 20th century), circa 1960-1970s. Incised "Richman" signature. Also bears a plaque on its slate base incised "F. Richman". 11" by 10" by 7". Henry Moore inspired sculpture by this well-regarded Paris-born Canadian sculptor.
Original terracotta sculpture on a hard wood base, signed "G.R.Davis" and dated 1936 on the lower part of the neck. 10" tall, 15" including the base. G.R.Davis is listed in "Who Was Who in American Art" as a sculptor who exhibited with the Society of Independent Artists in 1935. We are attributing this work to him/her. We also notice that G.R.Davis could also stand for Gladys Rockmore Davis (1901-1967) although no mention was found of her working as a sculptor in any medium.
Original terracotta sculpture by Harriet Hochberg (American, 20th Century), circa 1960-1970. This presumably unique work is finished with a bronze patina and presented on a solid wood base measuring 9" by 11" by 2". The figure itself is 10" long, 8" large, and over 9" high. Signed "H. Hochberg" alongside the bottom of the work. Harriet Hochberg is a listed American sculptor whose monumental and architectural works grace a number of Los Angeles, Ca, institutions.

Offered in good original condition. Robert Lohman studied at the John Herron Art Institute as well as Cranbrook and Yale. This figural grouping appears to be a representation of a master and slave at a particularly dramatic moment of their relationship. Carved in full round, signed on the base "Thuma". Height 20". Friedrich Thuma the Younger is a German sculptor who studied art in Munich and worked in Stuttgart. He is known for religious works, fountains, etc...

This work is a unique ceramic sculpture, initialed on the base "TM" and also signed "Trude Mueller" and titled "Rumor" on a wood base. It measures over 16" high (the base is 7" by 5 3/4"). Offered in excellent condition. Trude Mueller is a Polish born sculptor and ceramicist who lives and works in Larchmont, NY.
Original stainless steel sculpture by John (Jonn) H. Geise (American, Seattle, 20th Century). This work is untitled. It measures 17.5" in heigth and is poised on a lucite base. Signed "Jonn H. Geise" and dated 1989. Geise is a contemporary sculptor with monumental works on display at the University of Washington in Seattle (Suzallo Library), at Sea-Tac Airport, at the University of Oregon Museum of Art, and in various other locations in Washington, Oregon, and California.

Original plaster of Paris sculpture of a nude woman, in the style of Robert Graham, circa 1970. This large work is unsigned and unmarked. Recently obtained from an estate. It measures 32" including base. Very reminiscent of Graham's works which took Jennifer as a model.
