Antique Kurdish bagface or front, circa 1900, measuring 22" by 26", natural dyes, in good condition (full pile, good shiny wool, very saturated dyes, beautiful gold border, with small damage to one of the selvedges and bluish discoloration to some of the wool warps probably from outside source of unknown origin).

Antique Tibetan saddle cover in pristine condition, retaining its red felt border and blue backing cloth, measuring approximately 32" by 52". Difficult to date, probably circa 1920.

It is signed "Paul Nabb" lower center. Little is known about this artist, except that he exhibited at the Whitney in 1953. Nabb is listed in Who Was Who in American Art, and in Artprice.

This painting is signed l.r. and bears various inscriptions on the reverse, including a title for the painting ("Dream Palace"). It appears to have belonged to the collection of the Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, where Landau was born.
