| Original oil painting on canvas board by Bernice Huntington (American, 1906-1998). This painting is signed l.r. 24" by 28" (painting alone), 29 1/2" by 33 1/2" in its period frame. Circa 1945-1955. Offered in excellent original condition. Bernice Huntington painted around Palm Springs and along the coast of Southern California. She studied with Bennet Bradbury and was a long time treasurer of the La Jolla Art Association. Listed in Hughes, Askart, etc. (one of two paintings by this artist currently offered on this site). | |
