| Large original oil painting on masonite panel by George Schwacha Jr. (American, 1908-1986), circa 1960, in its original frame (24" by 48" painting alone). Signed l.l. "Geo. Schwacha". Lived in Bloomfield, NJ. Studied with Arthur Woelfle, John Grabach, E. Dufner, etc. Member, and president, of Audubon Artists. Schwacha was a WPA artist in the forties. Well listed, exhibited, and collected. One of two paintings by this artist currently on this site. | |
