| Original abstract oil painting on canvas by Jack Wolfe (American, Mass./ Born 1924). Jack Wolfe is a well listed artist known for abstract expressionist works and figure painting (cf. usual reference works and databases, including Askart). This painting (circa 1960) in excellent condition retains its original artist frame. It measures 11" by 16", is signed "J. Wolfe" l.r. as well as "J.Wolfe Stoughton Mass." on the stretcher, and is titled "Sketch #3 T.T.P. also on the stretcher. | |
