| Original oil painting on board by Fred Berger (American, Chicago, 1923-2006). This painting is signed and dated 63 l.l. 12" by 11" (painting alone, 17" by 16" in its original frame). In excellent original condition. Fred Berger exhibited and won prizes at the AIC in the sixties. He was an influential art instructor at the American Academy of Art in Chicago. He is well remembered by the countless artists whom he taught for a number of decades. Listed in all the usual databases, well-collected and represented in museums. | |
